Last time I posted, I wrote a rather dramatic sign-off. I was a hundred percent sure that my days as a homeschool blogger had come to an end. My daughter was in her second year at a school of the arts. Her twin brother was thinking about going to high school, and I was quite busy with schooling my sons, driving my daughter to and from school everyday (which took roughly two hours a day), and a host of other things. I was tired and truly believed I didn’t have the time to spend on TAD Town. Boy was I wrong.
About a month ago Autry was forced to make a decision about whether to stay in school or not. Her days were long, she had numerous outside activities, and quite a bit of homework. She was left with little free time, and she and I were both tired of all the driving around. I told her she would either have to drop all her extracurricular activities or school. To my surprise she chose school, and suddenly I had three homeschoolers once again.
To say I was unprepared would be an understatement. I have been scrambling for the last few weeks to put a plan together for her. She is a very different learner than her twin brother, so although they are in the same grade, they have very different needs. It has taken me a few weeks to adjust to our new reality, but I am enjoying having her home again, and I appreciate the chance to spend time with her once again.
With her being home, I have decided to begin blogging again. The truth is I missed it, and now that I have more time on my hands, I want to get back into it. I look forward to sharing our homeschool journey once again.
For now I will end with a few pictures of what we have been up to these last few weeks. Until next time….
